A. Introduction - As a visitor to the web site, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by and
      to comply with the Terms of Service explained below. Most of the terms presented below apply to visitors. All
      of the terms presented below apply to clients/users, i.e. those who sign up for or use one or more of the English
      Master's paid services, the Proofreading Service, the Translation Service, the Q & A Service, the Translation
      Club, the On-line English Class, the On-line Korean Class. Below, those who sign up for or use a paid
      service provided by the English Master are referred to as either "client" or "user"; everyone who comes to the
      web site, which would include, but not be limited to, "clients/users," are referred to as "visitor."

B. Privacy Policy

1. For the purpose of protecting clients' credit card numbers, it is the policy of the English
     Master NEVER to store or save clients' credit card numbers, i.e., there is no database in which
     your credit card number exists at the English Master web site or on the English Master's off-line
     network. Consequently, customers paying by credit card need to provide a credit card number
     with each new transaction, including continuing students of the "On-line Classes" and renewal
     of "Translation Club" memberships and "Q & A Service" subscriptions. Clients' credit card and
     billing information will NEVER be shared with third parties.
2. The English Master collects particular personal client/user information, such as name, phone
     number, e-mail address, etc., in order to better provide client-specific customer service, fill orders
     promptly and improve the content on the web site with clients' needs in mind. However, for the
     purpose of honoring visitor confidentiality, this personal information will NEVER be shared
     with third parties and is NOT made available on-line. All personal information provided to the
     English Master by you, the visitor, is kept off-line.
3. The English Master may collect other profile/background information, such as native language,
     occupation, education, gender, etc., in order to better provide client-specific customer service and
     improve the content on the web site with clients' needs in mind. Also, this profile/background
     information may be used in aggregate reports. For the purpose of honoring visitor confidentiality,
     all utilization of this profile/background information is done with anonymity toward individual
     clients, i.e., you, the visitor, will not be able to be identified personally in any reports created using
     this profile/background information and/or by any business strategies employed based on this
     background information or any conclusions drawn therefrom.
4. Out of respect for the privacy of all visitors to the English Master web site, NO information
     unbeknownst to the visitor of the English Master web site, e.g. information surreptitiously
     collected via the use of "Cookies," is collected. The only time hidden information is collected is
     when information for security purposes is logged when clients of the "On-line Classes" or the
     "Translation Club" log on to their respective premium service with their User Name, Password
     and PIN or when clients of the "Q & A Service" submit a question using the Question Submission
     Form.
5. To protect the information visitors submit to the English Master, almost all data transfers that
     contain personal information are transmitted in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) environment and
     encrypted. The English Master uses a shared SSL provided by Hostica, the web-hosting company
     for the English Master. As the English Master has no authority or sovereignty over this SSL, the
     English Master is not responsible if the SSL is not in proper working order and/or for any loss or
     exposure of information transmitted as a consequence thereof. To process credit cards, the English
     Master uses ProPay.com. Again, as the English Master has no authority or sovereignty over this
     SSL, the English Master is not responsible if the SSL is not in proper working order and/or for any
     loss or exposure of information transmitted as a consequence thereof.
6. Regarding work submitted to the English Master's "Proofreading Service" or "Translation
     Service," the English Master strives to honor the sensitivity and maintain the security of such
     documents. However, the English Master assumes no responsibility for such documents.
7. All users are assigned a personal identification number (PIN) the first time they use
     theEnglishMaster.com services. It can be used to expedite the billing and document-submission
     processes. This PIN is also used for the Q& A Service.
8. Notwithstanding the above, the English Master reserves the right to disclose any content,
     information, records, or electronic communication of any kind in order to: satisfy any legal
     request, enforce these Terms of Service, or protect the rights of the English Master and/or its
     visitors and clients.

C. Jurisdictional Legal and Tax Obligations - The English Master's office is located in the United States in the
      state of New Jersey. The English Master operates in accordance with state and federal laws based on this
      location. Though you may be accessing the web site elsewhere in the world, you, the visitor, agree to abide by
      all applicable laws of the United States and of the State of New Jersey. Applicable tax laws within the United
      States and the State of New Jersey do not require the English Master to collect tax. However, some countries
      require a Value Added Tax (VAT). If your country requires you to pay a VAT for services provided by the
      English Master, you are responsible for paying this tax, and you agree that the English Master may include a
      charge covering such tax in your bill.

D. Ownership, Copyright and General Terms of Use

1. You, the visitor, are not to copy, upload, print out, link to, translate or otherwise transmit any of
     the content of the English Master web site for the purposes of commercial distribution. Ownership
     and all rights and interests in contents of the web site and all copies thereof remain at all times
     vested in the English Master. The web site is protected by national and international copyright,
     trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized copying of the content of the web
     site is illegal and forbidden.
2. The English Master is not responsible for any loss, inconvenience and/or delays caused by server
     and/or system malfunction, error and/or downtime.

E. Links to Third-party Sites - The English Master web site may contain hyperlinks to other web sites operated by
      parties outside of the English Master network and its sphere of influence. Such hyperlinks are provided for
      our visitors' convenience and are for reference purposes only. The English Master does not control these web
      sites and is not responsible in any way for their contents. TheEnglishMaster.com's inclusion of hyperlinks to
      these web sites does not imply any endorsement of the material existing on them or any association with their
      operators.

F. Service Specific Terms

1. Ownership, Copyright, License to Use and Terms of Use

a. In addition to the application of the stipulations of "C" above, you, the client/user,
     agree that the Service is licensed to you only for your own personal use and that,
     therefore, you are not to re-sell, rent out and/or sublicense any part of the services
     provided to you by the English Master to or with another party by way of copying,
     uploading, reproducing, printing out, linking to, translating or otherwise transmitting
     any of the content of the English Master web site or the work you agreed to have the
     English Master do for you, including but not limited to proofreading, translation or
     answers to questions. Proofreading and translation work done for the Proofreading
     and Translation Services and Answers for the Q & A Service are property of the
     English Master and are subject to the aforementioned stipulations.
b. The English Master does NOT extend any warranties or guarantees for its services.
     All services are provided "as is." This includes work done for the Proofreading and
     Translation services and answers to questions for the Q & A Service.

2. Special Order-based services, i.e. the "Proofreading Service" and the "Translation Service"

a. After payment has been received, NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason.
     Proofreading and translation is done for and provided to you, the client, "as is."
b. The English Master is not strictly bound by the conditions presented on the
     "Proofreading Service" page, located at
     http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/ProofreadingService.htm or the
     "Translation Service" page, located at
     http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/TranslationService.htm. The conditions
     presented on those pages are guidelines and estimates. The English Master ultimately
     reserves the right to consider/reject all projects on a case-by-case basis.

3. Membership-based services, i.e. the "On-line Classes" and the "Translation Club"

a. After signing up, NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason. These services are
     provided on-line "as is."
b.  Entrance to the "On-line Classes", the "On-line English Class" and the "On-line
     Korean Class", and the "Translation Club" are extended to individuals only, NOT
     GROUPS. Your account is to be accessed by you, the client/user, and only you. If it is
     suspected that your account is being abused by an outside party, the English Master
     reserves the right to change your User Name, Password and/or PIN without the
     consent of you, the user. If it is suspected that the service provided is being misused
     or abused by you, the user, the English Master reserves the right to close your
     account WITHOUT REFUND. An example of suspicious use would be excessive use
     of a client's User Name, Password and/or PIN from various IP Addresses,
     information which is gathered during the log-on processes of the aforementioned
     membership-based services.
c. Please remember that you, the user, are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of
     your User Name, Password and PIN. You are to immediately notify the English
     Master of any known unauthorized use of your account.

4. Proofreading Service

a. You, the client, agree to all of the terms, conditions and stipulations of the
     "Proofreading Service" presented and explained on the "Proofreading Service" page
     located at http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/ProofreadingService.htm.

5. Translation Service

a. You, the client, agree to all of the terms, conditions and stipulations of the
     "Translation Service" presented and explained on the "Translation Service" page
     located at http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/TranslationService.htm.
b. Though translation work done by the English Master is done by a person or persons
     with a high level of proficiency in the applicable languages, the English Master does
     NOT provide certified translators. The translation is done for and provided to you, the
     client, "as is." Therefore, the English Master is NOT legally liable/culpable for any
     damages or problems that may arise or be incurred as a result of errors in or
     inexactness of the translation.

6. Q & A Service

a. You, the client, agree to all of the terms, conditions and stipulations of the "Q & A
     Service" presented and explained on the "Q & A Service" page located at
     http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/Q-n-AService.htm.
b. After signing up, NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason. Answers are provided
     "as is." Answers are considered correct, but perhaps not ultimate, according to the
     standards of the English Master only. The English Master makes no claim that
     answers provided will be ubiquitously accepted as correct and/or ultimate. Therefore,
     the English Master is not liable for any problems that may arise due to the debatable
     nature of the answer provided.
c. Access to use the "Q & A Service" is extended to individuals only, NOT GROUPS.
     So, you, the client, are not to give out your PIN to others as NO REFUNDS will be
     given for requests made using your PIN. However, in order to help prevent fraudulent
     use of your PIN by an outside party, responses to all requests using your PIN will
     (also) be sent to the e-mail address you provided when you signed up.
d. Please remember that you, the client, are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of
     your PIN and that you are responsible for all uses of your account. You are to
     immediately notify the English Master of any known unauthorized use of your
     account.
e. There is no expiration date on your subscription as long as the English Master is in
     business.

7. Translation Club

a. You, the user, agree to all of the terms, conditions and stipulations of the
     "Translation Club" presented and explained on the "Translation Club" page located
     at http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/TranslationClub.htm.

8. On-line English Class

a. You, the user, agree to all of the terms, conditions and stipulations of the "On-line
     English Class" presented and explained on the "On-line English Class" page located
     at http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/On-lineClass.htm.

9. On-line Korean Class

a. You, the user, agree to all of the terms, conditions and stipulations of the "On-line
     Korean Class" presented and explained on the "On-line Korean Class" page located
     at http://www.theenglishmaster.com/English/On-lineKoreanClass.htm.

11. Free Services

a. Services, such as the "Résumé Maker" and "Word Games," which are made available
     to visitors without charge, are offered "as is." The user uses this service at their own
     risk. The English Master is not responsible for any possible damages, including illicit
     information transfer, computer malfunction, etc., that occur during the usage or as a
     result therefrom. The English Master is also not responsible in any way for what users
     decide to do with their résumés thereafter.

b. Clients who decide to post their résumés at the English Master network, assume all
     responsibility for their résumé, the web page of their résumé and how they decide to
     alter and use it. As a practice, the English Master will remove physical addresses or
     phone numbers from résumés upon initial posting. However, the user may contact the
     English Master requesting additions, including the additions of a phone number
     and/or physical address, or alterations; those and only those additions and alterations
     will be made. If a user adds or alters information on his/her résumé, such as personal
     contact information, on his/her own or contacts the English Master to do so, the
     English Master assumes no responsibility for the results of these further
     additions/alterations.

11. Conduct in Public Interactive areas - Messaging services, such as the message boards of the
      On-line Classes and the Premium Services chatrooms, are provided to you, the client/user, as an
      integral part of the services and as an opportunity to communicate with fellow users, practice
      your English, etc., etc. Other public interactive features, such as the homework pages of the
      On-line Classes and the test page of the Translation Club, are provided to you, the client, as
      integral parts of your respective services. You are to be courteous and respectful to your fellow
      users. You agree to use the messaging services and the other public interactive features as they
      are intended. You agree not to use the messaging services for chain letters, junk mail, spamming
      or solicitations (commercial or non-commercial) or to send any message or material that is
      unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise
      objectionable or that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise
      violate any applicable law or regulation. You, the client, agree that the English Master shall not
      be responsible for any content of the messaging services or any user-created content in the
      public interactive areas. The English Master does not prescreen user-created content as a matter
      of policy. The English Master has the right, but not the responsibility, to monitor these services
      as well as to remove any messaging content which it deems harmful, offensive, or otherwise in
      violation of any rules we may have in place at the time. You, the client, understand that the
      messaging services and the answers you submit for homework for the On-line Classes or for the
      test items of the Translation Club are public and not private communications. Clients are
      responsible for the contents of the public interactive areas and the consequences thereof. The
      English Master reserves the right for any reason to remove, without notice, any content posted by
      any user/client, but we have no obligation to delete content that you may find objectionable or
      offensive. You, the client/user, agree that when using the messaging/public interactive services,
      you will not:

Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or violate the rights of privacy and publicity of others;
Distribute or post any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent, or unlawful message or
material;
Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain
letters;
Disrupt the flow of dialogue in any of the Messaging Services or otherwise act in a manner that
negatively affects other participants.
      By posting any message or material in the public interactive areas, you automatically
      grant, or warrant that the owner of such material has expressly granted, to the English Master
      a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, perform, and
      display such material worldwide. You, the client/user, are responsible for any personal
      information you divulge in the public interactive areas, including but not limited to the
      messaging services, and for consequences thereof or stemming therefrom. You, the client/user, are
      responsible for all contents submitted in all of the public interactive areas and are liable therefor
      and subject to the penalties and consequences thereof or stemming therefrom.
